Persian Culture & Literature Heritage

Persian Culture & Literature Heritage is a cultural association based in Valencia, Spain, founded to keep the literary, artistic, and intellectual heritage of Persia alive in the western Mediterranean.

We gather to read classical Persian texts together — from Ferdowsi and Gorgāni to Hāfez and Shāmlu; to enter into dialogue with our Valencian neighbours, writers and artists; and to open, for children of the Iranian diaspora, a bridge to the language and culture of their parents.

Our aim is not only to preserve a heritage but to create a conversation — between Persia and Spain, between past and present, between those who read and those who write.
